WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE: COOs, CNOs, nursing staff, ER staff, quality improvement staff, and anyone else interested in the topic
OVERVIEW: Join us for the second Tackling Human Trafficking Town Hall where attendees will hear about the state's latest initiatives in tackling human trafficking and available resources to empower local communities and organizations. Attendees will also hear from another local hospital about its journey for building a comprehensive response system. The session will provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions and will cover considerations to implement elements of a human trafficking program within their own facility. This Town Hall is available to anyone committed to eradicating human trafficking in our state.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Identify future objectives and strategies of the Governor’s Office of Human Trafficking;
- Understand the human trafficking program structure and processes at a local facility; and
- Be aware of opportunities to expand Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) capacity within the state.
