OVERVIEW: The Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) has collaborated with health plan representatives to provide hospitals with information specific to the plans’ processes and programs, as well as to answer questions to assist hospitals with maneuvering through the challenges they sometimes face. All aspects of Medicare will be included in the discussions, as applicable, to provide a comprehensive experience. Developed using member hospital feedback on issues that frequently arise, the program objectives are designed to offer a meaningful and detailed discussion of health plan policies and practices. Payer Day will end with a general question and answer session with health plan representatives.
